About the Role
We're looking for an elite Account Executive to spearhead our growth in Canada, with a key focus on the Ontario market. You'll own your territory like it's your own business—building pipeline, closing multi-location deals, and cementing our position as the top cannabis retail technology provider.
This is a high-velocity, full-cycle sales role where you'll hunt, consult, negotiate, and close. You will be a crucial "boots on the ground" presence in Canada's largest market, working cross-functionally to design creative solutions and help sophisticated operators future-proof their tech stack. This is a role for builders and closers who want to define a category.
What You'll Do
- Build and execute strategic territory plans for whitespace and competitive accounts across Canada.
- Prospect creatively into licensed Canadian cannabis retailers.
- Drive the full-cycle SaaS sales process: discovery → demo → proposal → negotiation → close.
- Develop multi-threaded relationships with key executives (CEO, COO, VP of Growth, etc.).
- Manage a healthy, predictable pipeline in Hubspot and forecast weekly.
- Lead contract discussions, pricing strategy, and deal structuring.
- Partner cross-functionally with Payments, Customer Success, and Marketing teams.
- Evangelize the full Greenline & BLAZE stack: POS, BLAZEPAY, BLAZE ECOM, BLAZE APPS, and more.
- Consistently exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue goals.
What We're Looking For
Must-Haves:
- 3+ years of full-cycle B2B SaaS or ERP sales experience, with a consistent track record of hitting quota.
- Demonstrated success selling into mid-market or enterprise accounts.
- Strong discovery, consultative selling, and executive communication skills.
- Proven ability to run a structured sales process and close net-new business.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Cannabis or other regulated Canadian industry experience.
- Background selling payments, POS, or commerce software.
- Experience at a high-growth startup or early-stage tech company.
- Knowledge of the Canadian cannabis competitive technology ecosystem (e.g., COVA, Dutchie).
